Advent Wreath Workshop

The whole family can join in to make an Advent wreath as we prepare our hearts and homes for Advent.  Greenery will be provided, but if you would like to bring greenery from your yard to share, we would love to have it!
$15 per wreath, includes frame/candles/greenery
or by check/cash at the event.

6:30  pm Caroling at Canterbury House                                         175 Market Street

Let’s refresh “the poor and helpless, the cold, the hungry, and the oppressed; the sick and them that mourn, the lonely and the unloved, the aged…all those who know not the Lord Jesus…” with some enthusiatic caroling! Join Paul Reese and the clergy as we sing carols with the residents of Canterbury House. You are qualified for this ministry, the songs will be familiar, and the words will be provided.

6:30 pm    Caroling in the Neighborhood                         Meet in the Kinloch Room   

We will gather in the Kinloch Room at 6:30 pm, and then go Christmas Caroling in the neighborhood around St. Michael's. Singing as a community has the side effect of binding us together as a Christian family.  Help us to build the bonds of friendship and community with our nearest neighbors. Song sheets will be provided and all voices welcome!

7:00 pm Advent Lessons & Carols                                                          Sanctuary

Advent Lessons and Carols is a quiet time of reflection, Scripture, and song to help us prepare for the coming of the Savior.  Set aside an hour or two to meditate and wonder as we trace God’s story of redemption and re-creation. There will be a flute & harp prelude that begins at 6:30 pm.

Christmas Pageant

Sunday, December 18, 2022         9:00 am 

Our Christmas Pageant is back! The children of St. Michael's will present the 57th Christmas Pageant at 9:00 am on December 18 in the church. There will be no Sunday School for any age, however the nursery will be available for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. We will have our regular 8:00 am and 11:00 am Holy Communion services.
