Pictured here is Emma Litzenburg surrounded by her bridesmaids and their Christmas wedding bouquets. Emma and Thad Ball were married here the week before Christmas. This year  St. Michael’s nearly set a record for weddings. Yet every wedding requires great teamwork by staff and volunteers. So let me take this moment to say thank you to the Wedding Guild chaired by our own Laura Hewitt. The Wedding Guild comes to every rehearsal and wedding to make sure everything goes smoothly. Now we also have two other very important task forces (Guilds) having to do with worship. The Altar, Wedding and Flower Guilds. Week after week these teams make worship at St. Michael’s logistically seamless. Thank you to Kristen Reese and Irven Stevenson and their teams for their passion for the Altar Guild! Let me also say thank you to Beryl Middleton and her team’s passion for the flowering of the church every week. I want to say thank you to each and ever member of these teams as we couldn’t do what we do without you!  If you would like to serve in one of these areas, let the Rev. Ted McNabb or
