One of the ways the Zadig family celebrates Christmas is displaying all the Christmas cards we receive up and through Christmas. We call it the wall of glory. When cards come in the mail, we tape them up to the wall which gives us a wonderful opportunity to look and ponder what Jesus is doing in all of our lives. Often I will catch Wimberly, Christian and Hudson just staring at them all as they excitedly point to the children they know. So, thank you to all who sent your cards this year! Of course, we all have a decision to make…what do we put on the front? What words or pictures? If Christmas really is the beginning of the greatest rescue mission the world has ever seen, then that should shape our cards. In Acts 4:12 we hear these words….Salvation is found in no one else, there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved…. If we believe these words then our cards should reflect that powerful news. In a world that celebrates political correctness ad nauseum, let’s go against that grain and reflect Acts 4 in our cards.
No more: Seasons Greetings or Happy Holidays
Let’s give the world the real news of Joy to the World, the Lord Has Come, Let Earth Receive Her King!
Merry Christmas and keep those cards coming!
