Throughout my life my mom has been taking me to church. She has been doing so since I was born. When I was much younger I felt that I was being dragged to church, but as I got older and less distracted I started to listen to what was being said and felt that it spoke to me.

I am now glad my mom would get me up on the weekend and take me to church because I now see that god is a big part of my life and helps me all the time. I know now that he will always help me but also everyone in the world because he loves each of us.

The ways it spoke to me where always different but equally helpful. I remember that once I was worried about a drive on a bus at camp. I was in a bus in the mountains next to a large cliff that went down had big drop-off. I said a prayer to help calm me down and to keep us safe and soon felt better about are dangerous drive.

I like to pray for things I am very thankful for in my life like my family friends and awesome dog Marina. I have realized that not everyone has these things and I should be thankful I do. I am very excited to get confirmed and be apart of St. Michael’s church.
