Mission trips at St. Michaels are cranking up!  The Ukraine Healing Mission Trip is scheduled for September 27- October 7.  The Youth Group is planning to go to Dorchester, MA late July, and a Burundi trip is in the works for January!  So much is happening, but we need our devoted parishioners to remember to turn in your pledges from the GIC! Mission teams are going to be applying for specific projects that they will be working on during their mission trips.  (Please note* GIC money does NOT pay for transportation, housing, or food for individuals who are going on a mission trip)  The Action Team will approve money for these projects based on criteria that the vestry has approved. Our budget to approve these funds is dependent upon the faith promise pledges that have been turned in to St. Michaels.  So far, we have received approximately 25% of the Faith Promise pledges from the GIC. Please see the article from Johnnie Corbett explaining how some of the money in the past has been used in Ukraine.  Please continue to pray for our teams and where you may see yourself in mission’s ministry!
