Some of you may have noticed that the quarter hour is not chiming The quarter chime section of the clock has been removed for refurbishment by our clock consultant Daniel Jeffries of Covington Ga. We hope to have it reinstalled by late spring. This is the second stage of a three stage refurbishment process spread over the next 12 to 18 months. The last major overhaul of the clock was after Hurricane Hugo. Thank you for being patient during these repairs.
