Over the weekend of 24-26 February, 70 Change Ringers from North America and England gathered in Charleston for our every other year event “Ring Around Charleston”, hosted by our four local change ringing towers.  We had ringing classes and quarter peals on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday  with quarters being scored by four members of our St Michael’s band.

As an aside, do you know that Charleston has more change ringing towers than any other North American City.  Of the 45 or so towers in North America, four ( St Michael’s, the Cathedral, Grace, and Stella Maris, Sullivan’s Island) are located right here.
