It all happened so fast!  All of a sudden every media outlet and human being I came into contact with seemed in near hysteria about May 21 being the end of time.  I was even asked to interview with Channel 2 news about the event (or lack thereof).  After wondering if I would take the interview or not, I finally realized yes of course!  What a terrific opportunity to say essentially two very important things:

1.     The Bible says in Matthew 24:36…no one knows about the day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father….  No human will ever know the time of judgment day.

2.     However… we should all be ready.  What if it happened 5 minutes from now, are you ready?  For the Christian adult or child, there should be no fear, no anxiety of the last day because as Christians we are called to live a restored and reconciled life with Jesus Christ and those around us.  So are you ready to go today?  3 questions to dwell on:

Have you given your heart to Jesus Christ?
Have you forgiven those who over the years have hurt you?
Have you confessed those sins of commission or omission?
