On Thursday March 31, a team of about 20 headed to Crisis Ministries with The Gate to cook and serve dinner to the men at the shelter. The team (special thanks to Jason and Catherine Regan for planning the event) prepared and plated an enormous amount of spaghetti with meat sauce and sides of green beans, Texas toast, and fruit. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces and willing hands join together and spend the evening in service! The men were a joy to serve! They were all very polite, appreciative, and cheerful, chatting with us and even doing all of the cleanup! Thank you everyone who came out for this fantastic event. It was a blessing to serve with all of you. More service opportunities to come!
