The Scripture mandate is clear. To win those in the world for Jesus Christ, we need to meet them where they are (1 Corinthians 9:21-22).  So, to spend time with the youth of St. Michael’s, I donned my paintball outfit and prepared for battle. It was a joy taking son Christian and my father in law Tony Martin as well. What a day!  My favorite moment was looking at some of the shocked faces of the members of our youth group when they realized their priest had turned into a warrior. I have found that events with a spirit of adventure somehow make relationships real. The fruit of that day is that now when I see these wonderful adults and children in church, we can communicate on a whole new level!
