By now most of you know that last month a team of St. Michaelites drove a bus purchased by St. Michael’s to an inner city church (Christ the King) in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The bus will be used by the church to pick up people of all ages for church and other events including Vacation Bible School. The St. Michaelite team when delivering the bus departed on schedule but when they got about halfway up, the bus had some trouble that forced them to stay overnight in Delaware. Thankfully the bus was repaired and they delivered the bus the following evening. Youth Minister Justin Hare was one of the drivers and when he called to tell me of the problem he said something so great that it is my quotation of the month:

“The Apostle Paul, when he went on his first missionary journey was shipwrecked and nearly died. On this missionary journey we only ended up at the Meineke shop!  We feel blessed.”

Way to go Justin, a lesson on keeping life in Biblical perspective!
