A member of St. Michael’s Church since 1967 when my parents brought me to the nursery. Attended Sunday School, sang in the junior and youth choirs, participated in the Christmas Pageant, and an acolyte. After college and nursing school, returned to St. Michael’s Church and attended ALPHA, the Financial Peace course, and BETA.
My faith walk really began after the premature birth of my son Luke in 2001. The many people praying for us and watching God’s healing power inspired me to want to find out more about Jesus. I joined a women’s bible study and through love and prayer from those wonderful women, my spiritual life grew.
I completed the Order of St. Luke and currently serve as a prayer minister, Stephen minister, coffee hostess, and a member of the Hurting Coast Task Force.
I am a registered nurse at the Medical University of South Carolina and have a heart for helping others. God has blessed me and my family and has always comforted us.
