Dee Goehring
Director of Children's Ministry
Children are a gift from the Lord! I am passionate about helping them see how God sees them and what His desire is for His children as we walk with Him along the way. Encouraging families to walk faithfully in their role to “Train up a child in the way he should go” is pure joy! Together, as the body of Christ, we can boldly proclaim the gospel for all to hear and make disciples in our homes and to the ends of the earth.
Dee grew up in the upstate of SC, graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Elementary Education where she met her husband. She worked as the Preschool Ministries/Toddler Time Director for St. Michael’s nine years ago before having her youngest daughter. She has been an elementary and middle school teacher in public, private and Christian schools, a Learning Coach for a local school and a Human Resources Specialist.
Dee has been married to Allen, an IT Director, for 26 years. They have three daughters, Annabella, Jacqueline and Beatrice. She enjoys spending time with her family, boating and enjoying all the lowcountry has to offer as well as renovating a family home with her husband.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deuteronomy 6:7
