The Societa Dante Alighieri and St Michael's Church are proud to present an evening of Italian art and music. Meet the Chicago-based sculptor Jyl Bonaguro, one of the very few artists who still specialize in carving Italian marble by hand - alla Michelangelo!

The event will feature the screening of the short documentary, Lifted, about Ms. Bonaguro and the world-famous Italian marble capital, Carrara, Italy. 

The evening concludes with a live performance of Italian arias by members of the Charleston Opera Theater.
