MINISTRY FOCUS
- Fresh Start Visions, led by Tim Terry, works in SC prisons preparing inmates for successful reintegration into society.
- Work starts with inmates up to two years prior to their release through weekly 2 hour classes. The Gospel is shared through character development and employment readiness.
- Inmates and program alumni are trained to work with other men both inside and outside prison, as living witnesses to the power of God’s love and forgiveness.
- They offer jobs, housing, mentoring and support to help each ex-offender succeed and not return to prison.
- St. Michael’s supports Fresh Start Visions through grants for transitional housing and volunteer support for many areas of the ministry.
