Junior Warden
I am blessed to have grown up at St. Michael’s and to continue worship- ing there today. Growing up, I attended Sunday School, acolyted, sung in the children’s choir, participated in EYC, and went on a mission trip to Honduras after my senior year in high school. Since moving back to Charleston in 2008, I have served as Alpha coordinator and on the Alpha team, as director of the 6:00 p.m. service teams, and on a discernment committee for an individual heading to seminary. I am a member of a life group that began during the Alpha course in the Spring of 2009, and I have participated in Beta, the parenting course, and an Alpha leadership conference in Texas. Perhaps my most rewarding involvement to date has been helping to start the 9:00 a.m. service. I served on the Vestry from 2015 to 2020, as Secretary of the Vestry from 2016 to 2020, and as Chair of the Family Ministry Task Force from 2018 to 2020. I am currently serving as the church’s Solicitor. I practice employment law and general litigation at Gordon & Rees LLP. Most importantly, my wife, Ashley, and I will celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary in June, and we have four children.
