Jack Steele

I was born and raised in Statesville, NC. I attended Davidson College (Economics, BA) and Vanderbilt University School of Law, where I was the Associate Editor of the Law Review. I served 8 years in the US Army Reserve. I worked in business litigation for law firms in Winston-Salem and Charlotte, NC. Prior to moving to Charleston, I attended several churches in NC and in Bluffton, SC, where I volunteered as a Sunday School class leader, outreach volunteer, and on the finance committee. My wife Melanie and I began attending St. Michael’s in 2019. In that time, I have served as the John’s Island PODZ host, been a reader at the 11 am service, and am active in the Mustard Seed Ministry. I enjoy competition sporting clays shooting and showing greyhounds at American Kennel Club shows.
