St. Michael’s Choir

Rehearsals:  Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:30 pm, Sundays at 10:00 am

The Adult Choir is a group of  singers which leads and adorns the 11:00 am congregational music and offers some of choral music written to support the lessons week by week.  Special events include concerts, Choral Evensong, Lessons and Carols, and special music for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Lent, and Easter. There are periodic social gatherings. Wanting to learn, and do one’s best and having some previous singing experience is all that is required.

An Evening of Italian Art & Music

May 12, 2022 at 6:00 pm

The Societa Dante Alighieri and St Michael's Church are proud to present an evening of Italian art & music. Meet the Chicago-based sculptor Jyl Bonaguro, one of the very few artists who still specialize in carving Italian marble by hand - alla Michelangelo!

The event will feature the screening of the short documentary, Lifted, about Ms. Bonaguro and the world-famous Italian marble capital, Carrara, Italy.

The evening concludes with a live performance of Italian arias by members of the Charleston Opera Theater.

Please register for the free event at info@dantecharleston.org by May 9, 2022.
