REALM...A guide to getting started
CONNECT THROUGH REALM
Realm is our online directory and database program. This program stores information on our members and non-members, such as contact information, financial giving, family members, and baptism, wedding, confirmation and funeral data.
Realm keeps you in touch with our church online. You can set up Auto-Giving, manage your contact information, see your giving history, and connect easily with others in our congregation and all from a computer or mobile device.
A secure environment only for our church, Realm requires each user to log in with an email address and a password.
HOW DO I SET UP AN ACCOUNT?
First Step:
Check to see if you are already Active. Click on the Sign In Button and enter your password. (Click the blue button below to go directly to the Realm Sign in Page)
If you do not remember your password, click on the Forgot Password button and Realm will send you a link to reset your password to your email account. Check your email and click on the link and reset your password. If you didn't receive an email, check your spam/junk folder.
If none of these options work, Realm will have to send you an invite email. Call the office and ask for Ruthie or Kara and they will send you the invite email, then you will create your own password. The office number is (843)723-0603.
Second Step: Creating a password
This is a very critical step and must be followed exactly as specified here...
Create a password that is 12 - 15 characters and has at least 1 capital letter, 1 number, and 1 symbol. It cannot have any repeating characters and cannot have any part of your email address in it.
Once you have created your password, log in! If it doesn't work make sure there are no repeating characters or a part of your email address and that you have entered it correctly. If you have trouble with the password, call the office and Ruthie or Kara will help you.
Third Step: Log In and Get Started!
Once you are logged in, you will want to look at your profile and make sure all the information is correct:
Name, address and phone number is all correct. Is your email listed correctly? Is your family listed correctly?
Is your giving history correct?
You can edit any of your personal information by clicking on the Edit button at the top left of the page.
You can upload of photo of yourself or your family at the top left of the page, where you see a square.
Make sure to check the privacy settings that you prefer...your profile can remain visible to anyone who is in our online directory or to church staff only.
HOW DO I USE REALM?
Stay connected to our church wherever you go by downloading the free Connect App for iPhone and Android devices. Use it to communicate with your groups, RSVP to events, manage your giving, update profile information, and more. It makes it easier for us to connect throughout the week and know what’s happening.
You do not have to use the mobile app, you can continue to log in on your computer at onrealm.org. The app will ask you to enter in your log in information.
GIVE THROUGH REALM
Review your giving history or make new donations online or on your mobile phone. Simply sign in to look over your year-to-date giving, check pledge progress, print a contribution statement, or make a new one-time or recurring donation. It’s always available and kept secure in an easy-to-use online environment.
