Ruthie Killen
Receptionist/Communications Assistant
Ruthie was born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina. She graduated in 2022 from Western Carolina University with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy. Ruthie is the youngest of three girls and enjoys time with her family, especially her nephew, Danny. She loves the Lowcountry and all it has to offer: beach days, sunsets, historic downtown and Edisto Island. Ruthie loves movie series such as Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia. She enjoys studying scripture and learning how to apply it to daily life. Books that were impactful for her are A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 by Phillip Keller and The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. She loves spending time with her friends, especially at Riverdogs games and while hosting Walk Club. Ruthie is joyful that God has led her to work at St. Michaels.
