Consumerism, Covenant, Conquest

Preacher: The Rev. Alfred T.K. Zadig, Jr. Series: Lent

Last week on the first Sunday of Lent, we took you to the attic of your soul to take inventory, and begin a cleaning process.  Today let’s go deeper in that attic and look deeply into the chamber of Mark 17 (one of the most challenging passages of Jesus Christ).  Jesus in Mark 17 is saying to us, “Whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the Gospel’s, will save it.”  To make any sense of that we will all need to continually transition from Consumer Christianity, to Covenantal Christianity to Join Jesus in His conquest!
