On this first Sunday of Lent, please go with me to your attic. Is it a scary place? A place neglected? The attic is a great metaphor for the human heart. What’s in there that needs to be removed? What needs to be dealt with to make room? Or even more, how can that old room be transformed into the brightest warmest room of the house? Lent is all about introspection, examining our hearts, auditing our lives, why? To be made new. Join me as we go with Jesus into the attic spaces of wilderness.
