God’s ways are not our ways. The way we most naturally think about our lives and the things that happen in our lives are not the same as the way God looks at and thinks about these things. This is especially true in times of suffering and pain, when the winds of life are blowing against us. In such times we ask, “Where is God in all of this? Why has God allowed this to happen?” Why is this happening to me?” The Bible reveals one answer above all others. It is that God allows difficult times to bring us to our most vulnerable point so that we can meet Him.
