Who's Coming?

Preacher: The Rev. Bill Hyer Series: Advent Scripture: Luke 3:7–9, Luke 3:15–18, Psalm 85

Now is the Advent Season. The word “advent” comes from the Latin word meaning “to come” or “coming.” Advent is the season when we celebrate a past coming, as well as the occasion when we look forward to a future coming. But it is also a time of preparation for the coming of one in our day. So, whose past coming do we celebrate? Whose future coming do we look forward to? And whose present coming are we to prepare for today?

This sermon was given on Sunday, December 12, 2021.
