Jesus of Nazareth, by any measure, was the greatest religious teacher in history. But what exactly is the measure of greatness? Maundy Thursday commemorates the beginning of Jesus’ Passion and subsequent death on the cross. Tonight we’ll examine how Jesus- in washing his disciples’ feet, gives us a radically reoriented definition of greatness. One which he then commands us to take up ourselves!
