Today is that one Sunday of the year where we slow down our worship for something we call an Instructed Eucharist.  The purpose of the Instructed Eucharist is to explain why we do what we do in worship.  Like why do we have confession before Communion?  What does the wafer we receive at communion really signify? What does all of this have to do with my life?  Ironically, the Gospel for today is all about fruitfulness.  How can we be fruitful if we don’t really know why we worship?  So come with a teachable spirit as together we are refreshed with the why’s of what we do!
