Happy Mother's Day!  Today we celebrate all mothers, grandmothers, godmothers and mother figures.  Quick question for all sons and husbands…how many of you are getting clothing as a gift for the mothers/wives in your lives on this special day?  With that clothing perspective in mind, read Colossians 3.  Paul reminds us to take off the old clothing of  anger, wrath, malice, slander and obscene talk, and put on the new clothing of compassion, kindness, humility, patience and forgiveness with love being the foundation.  Might we all leave here today wearing those new clothes!
