Susan Waring

Susu Waring has been on the team at St. Michael’s for seven years but a regular at church services since 2003. She also enjoys volunteering as a prayer minister and leads a women’s Bible study group.
She previously worked in children’s programming and development at the Charleston Library Society as well as served at The Charleston Museum’s historic houses where she focused on programs for youngsters.
Susu adores travel, especially her time in the Holy Land with the Zadigs as leaders. She has also been on a life-changing mission trip to Kenya and visited Italy and the Netherlands.
She is a graduate of the College of Charleston where she double majored in history and art history. Susu has been married to cradle St. Michaelite Charles Waring since 2005.

Favorite book: The Great Gatsby
Hobbies: Gardening, fly fishing and hunting.
Fun fact you might not know: As a young girl, Susu saw both Frank Sinatra and Elvis perform.
