God Takes Notice

September 11, 2022 Preacher: The Rev. Alfred T. K. Zadig Jr Series: Exodus

Scripture: Exodus 1:8–14, Exodus 2:11–15, Exodus 2:23–25, John 8:31–36

It’s finally here, what we have been talking about all summer!  Our fall Exodus preaching series.  You will hear Exodus preached from the pulpit, taught in Sunday School and in many of our small groups, why?  So every age can be on the same Biblical page.  Today as we launch this thrilling book, I’m going to be describing Exodus in ‘3’ words:  Out-Into-Up.  The Jews are led by God OUT of slavery, INTO the promised land and UP to Mt. Sinai to receive the 10 Commandments.  The application for this first sermon on Exodus, comes from the very last verse of our passage, and it is this:  God took notice of the suffering of the Jews.  He took notice then, He takes notice now.  Take courage!
