The Night Death is Defeated: The Pass-Over

Scripture: Exodus 12:1–14, Exodus 12:29–32, John 1:29–34

Many of us watched hour upon hour the fanfare and powerful images out of London regarding the passing to heaven of Queen Elizabeth, II.   Such a time reminds us that death is coming to us all, royalty or not.  As we continue in our Exodus series, we come to the night of nights that would change everything, the night death would be defeated.  Yet it’s impossible to read Exodus 12 without John 1!  For in these two readings we realize that for the believer, death is not death, but a passage-way to heaven.  Stay tuned.
