Some years ago, I discovered my grandfather Christian Williamson was a cheerleader for North Dakota State University (NDSU).  I wasn’t even aware that football games at the turn of the 20th century had cheerleaders!   It was quite a surprising revelation.  Today as we continue our Summer Preaching Series on Leaders who Follow, we come to Acts 11.  In this spectacular chapter we discover  Barnabas as the cheerleader of cheerleaders in Scripture.  In fact he is known as Mr. Encouragement!  So this sermon is for all who need some encouragement today, as well as a call for all of us to be Barnbas like encouragers to others!
