Break Your Alabaster Jar of Hurt
Preacher: The Rev. Alfred T.K. Zadig, Jr. Series: Leaders Who Follow Scripture: Luke 7:35–50
What do you carry around that is hurting you? What do you carry around that keeps you up at night? It might be a financial anxiety, or a relational issue. For all of us, there are pains and sadnesses that from time to time end up on our shoulders. Today as we continue our summer preaching series on characters of the Bible, we come to the story of the unnamed woman, carrying around some major hurt in the form of an alabaster jar. In today’s sermon I will explain why that jar represented such hurt for her, and how Jesus transformed that hurt into an incredible love story.
